Bald Knob – Smart Retreat

Our clients are newly retired and were building their last house (dream house), they wanted everything to be done right and wanted to make sure that the house had the latest in technology but also was easy enough to use for themselves and any guests that they have. The house had to be practical and very non-invasive to the style of the house. The lounge room was also to have a TV and surround sound system but was not to be seen or installed in a way that would block the view.

All the hardware chosen had high level control with RTI and Leviton, this enables us to give the client a single app to control every aspect of the system from any device locally and remotely. We installed a rain sensor for automatic closure of the louvres controlled. We installed a Stealth Acoustics 5.1 system in the lounge room to make them invisible to the client and also a TV lifter to hide the TV when not in use. We installed a TV lifter in the Master bedroom also so that the views were not covered by a TV.
